Dillon Thieneman, the Bears' No. 25 pick, was overshadowed by his sister's excitement during an ABC interview. The last time the team had drafted a safety in the first round was in 1990. Thrieneman, a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Purdue, is also the first defensive player selected by the Bears since 2018.
