Business briefs: Sickle cell events on tap in April

The Society of Innovators at Purdue Northwest is partnering with the International Business Innovation Association (IE) for the 40th International Conference on Business Innovation, set to take place in Chicago on April 12-15. The conference will be the organization's largest global gathering of entrepreneurship and innovation leaders. The partnership highlights PNW's growing role in the regional and national conversation around entrepreneurship and innovations. CPA Lynn Duttlinger has been named chairman of the Executive Leadership Team for the Northwest Indiana Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Travail With Us will host free events in April, including a free Sickle Cell Awareness Walk, blood drive and picnic. The 3rd Annual Sickle cell Gala will be held on April 18 at Marquette Park Pavilion in Gary.
