The cat was relinquished to a no-kill humane society unexpectedly and Fran, the saint who runs the account to help animals get rescued, expressed his love for Neow and expressed his desire to find a loving home. The post also received interest in adopting Neow. The update on Neow's adoption status revealed that Neow had been adopted by no-killed humane society NAWS, which averages about 190 adoptions per month.
