Dennis Xavier Arguello-Acosta, a 22-year-old man accused of killing off-duty Fort Bend County Deputy Kenneth Lewis, has been arrested by the Houston Police Department and charged with failing to stop and render aid in an accident involving death, as well as tampering with evidence. The case progressed after an anonymous tip led authorities to Arguell-Acostion. He is currently being held in the Harris County Jail. The federal government has placed a hold on Arguella-Acoss to ensure his release while the case proceeds.
