Apple has revealed the maximum battery cycle count for the new MacBook Neo, confirming it with a maximum cycle count of 1,000. Each battery cycle is the equivalent of 100% of the energy equivalent of a 100% battery capacity across multiple charges. This means that a Mac laptop can consume half of its charge in one day and then recharge it fully, resulting in one full battery cycle. However, this will vary depending on user usage and battery capacity. The MacBook Neo has a 36.5‑watt‑hour lithium‑ion battery, enough to keep it running for up to 16 hours of video streaming and up to 11 hours of wireless web browsing. After 1,00 battery cycles, the battery will likely need to be replaced, but its capacity to hold a charge and deliver power will significantly decrease.
