Roxana Jullapat, author of "Morning Baker," a new cookbook about cooking and baking with whole grains, has been published by W.W. Norton and is known for her passion for her philosophy of whole-grain baking. The book, which includes recipes, guides, and tips for beginning home bakers to incorporate whole grains into their recipes, includes a glossary and shopping guide. The author will be in Minneapolis on May 2 for a brunch collaboration at Adam and Jeanie Ritter’s restaurant Bûcheron. She shares her top tips for home baker who wants to move away from all-purpose flour and into whole grains: finding a solid purveyor, starting with good flour makes all the difference. Jullappat also shares her love for local flours in the Midwest and her bucket list for favorite Twin Cities bakeries.
