Bill Self defends ex-player Zuby Ejiofor as All-American after St. John’s star’s snub

Former Kansas coach Bill Self defended former player Zuby Ejiofor after St. John's star was not named to one of the Associated Press' three All-American teams, despite not being named. Despite this, Self praised the forward, stating that he was not surprised at the level of performance he has displayed. Ejiefor, a top-50 high school recruit out of Texas, has since developed into a top player at St.John's and is currently ranked 10th-ranked team in the country. He has been named Big East Player of the Year and Defensive Player of The Year this season.
