WNBA star Rickea Jackson feared Falcons’ James Pearce Jr. ‘will kill me’ as she files order of protection

WNBA star Rickea Jackson has filed an order of protection against Falcons' James Pearce Jr., who was arrested on five felony charges in February following an alleged domestic dispute. Jackson, who played for the Sparks and Falcons, initially filed a petition for protection against dating violence after Pearce's arrest. This has been granted and a permanent injunction hearing is set for April 21. Pearce, who reportedly crashed into Jackson's vehicle multiple times and hit a police officer with his car while exiting the scene. Jackson alleges that Pearce believed she was cheating on him prior to his arrest and no longer wants to date him.
