Acclaimed screenwriter and director Taylor Sheridan has agreed to produce and direct a film on the Battle of the Alamo for a new museum in San Antonio, Texas. This move comes as part of a major overhaul of the historic Crockett and Woolworth buildings, which will include immersive galleries, a 4D theater for the new movie, a rooftop terrace and a cafe. The new museum is set to open in 2027 or 2028.
