European stocks are expected to open higher on Wednesday as the U.S. continues to demonstrate efforts to de-escalate the Iran conflict. This follows comments from President Donald Trump that the two countries are in discussions about ending the conflict. However, Tehran continues to deny any direct negotiations. The New York Times reports that the US has sent Iran a 15-point plan to end the conflict, although gold prices also rose following the news.
