Denis Brovarnyy, a former software engineer and engineering manager in Israel, has developed a decade-long project to address the gap between formal education and actual work. He joined an existing IT school in Israel and began dismantling its methods, focusing on training AI engineers, a profession at the intersection of IT and artificial intelligence. The school has trained over 1,500 graduates and managed over 700 active students simultaneously. The expansion into Germany and the US was influenced by different market environments, with different hiring cultures and pace. Denis stays closely involved in curriculum, partnerships, marketing, and operations, not as a figurehead. He believes that the moment leadership loses touch with the actual product, the product starts drifting from reality.
