Crypto CEO is the latest boss to blame AI as he lays off 12% of staff

The CEO of Crypto.com, Kris Marszalek, has announced that he is laying off 12% of the company's staff, citing the rise of artificial intelligence as the reason for the layoffs. He stated that the company is joining the ranks of companies that are integrating enterprise-wide AI and suggested that companies that slow inattroduce will be left behind. This is not the first time a CEO has blamed AI for layoffs, with other companies recently announcing similar decisions.
