More than just RAM and SSD shortages are keeping Mac supplies low

Apple's Silicon chips based on TSMC's 3nm processors are in shorter supply than usual, but there is hope that the launch of a 2nm processor in the next MacBook Pro will improve the situation. The shortage of memory is expected to increase, leading to increased iPhone and Mac prices. However, demand from AI firms means firms may not be able to buy sufficient memory or processors at any price. According to Digitimes, Macs supply will remain constrained until TSMC increases its 2-nanometer manufacturing. Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, stated that the constraints will be on the Mac mini, Mac Studio, and the new MacBook Neo more than the iPhone.
