The area around Warwick Avenue, west London, will undergo a £3.7 million revamp under plans approved by Westminster City Council. The 'public realm' scheme aims to create safer pedestrian and pedestrian routes and add additional greenery to the neighbourhood, while preserving the existing character of the street. The project will also upgrade recycling facilities at the station and provide direct access to the Underground. However, concerns have been raised about the cost, which has been increased significantly from the original cost of £1 million. No timeline has been set for when the work will be finished.
