The first "marine cloud forecast bust" of the season has occurred in the past, with low clouds covering the Cascades, but bright sunshine east of the mountains and high Caskades. Despite this, temperatures have remained cool, a few notches below normal for late April. Friday through the weekend will be warmer than average due to a very dry easterly wind, with afternoons expected to be warm and fall into the afternoon. However, there is a potential shower or a few showers possible, but many of us just get a few sprinkles. No organized weather systems are expected for the next seven days.
