NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded the Artemis II mission around the moon, posted a video of Earthset from the lunar far side on his iPhone. The video shows a distant Earth disappearing behind a huge moon. Wiseman and his crewmates, Christina Koch and Victor Glover, and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, became the first people to see much of the lunarfar side with their own eyes. The astronauts returned home on April 10 after 10 days circling Earth and the moon. The mission was the first to the moon in over 50 years and is now focused on the Artemis III mission, which is expected to launch in mid-2027.
