Former Sandusky football coach charged with crimes involving minors

Nicanor Lopez, a former football coach in Sandusky County, is facing multiple counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor and possessing criminal tools. The charges were reported from July 2025 to February 2002. The district terminated him when it learned of the charges.
