Musk’s xAI is running nearly 50 gas turbines unchecked at its Mississippi data center

Elon Musk's company, xAI, is running nearly 50 natural gas turbines at its Mississippi data center, which the state is not regulating due to a loophole allowing them to evade air pollution regulations for a year. The NAACP has filed a lawsuit against the company, claiming the unchecked emissions from these turbines are worsening air quality. The Southern Environmental Law Center has accused xAI of violating federal law by operating the turbines in violation of the law.
