Blakeman, at City Hall, accuses Mamdani and Hochul of having ‘secret plan’ to tax the middle class

Republican candidate for governor Bruce Blakeman has accused Mayor Mamdani and Gov. Kathy Hochul of having a "secret plan" to raise taxes on the middle class. Blakeman accused both of being more moderate Democrat and more secretive about their plans. He also accused Hochil of being in league with Mammani, who plays a key role in setting tax policy. Despite their disagreements over taxes and stances on public safety and Israel, Blakeman's campaign has found common ground over expanding childcare and building more housing.
