Palmetto Bluff hosting Revolutionary walking tour in July

Several events are being held in Beaufort County, South Carolina, and Beaufort 250 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and America's birthday. One of these events will be a limited ticket presentation and walking tour of the cemeteries near Wilson Village on July 5 at Palmetto Bluff. The tour will be led by PalmetTo Bluff Archaeologist Katie Epps and will include a 1.8-mile walk through the property's burial grounds, highlighting the landmarks, events, and stories of the Revolutionary War in the Lowcountry. Tickets are $40 per person and proceeds will be used for cemetery restoration work in Paletto Blossom.
