New Mexico State University linebacker and sophomore student Drake Williams, 18, has been arrested and charged with two counts of battery against a household member. The charges stem from two incidents allegedly occurring at the dorms where he allegedly grabbed a woman by the collar of her sweater and forced her out of the room repeatedly. The second incident occurred when Williams allegedly entered the victim's room to retrieve his debit card. Police have confirmed that Williams and the victim have had an "intimate sexual relationship" since the Fall of 2025.
