Nico Anthony Torres, 30, is facing two felony charges for killing a woman on February 18, 2023 near the University of Central Florida’s main campus. The Florida Highway Patrol found Torres’ white 2022 Ford F-350 pickup truck that hit Skye Van Dyne, who was traveling north on the same road. The impact of the impact led to Van Dyso's death and Torres fled the scene. The truck was found with visible damage to its right front headlight and fender.
