Hong Kong's FilMart, the world's leading trade promotion agency, has hosted 2026 event for the Asian Screen Industry. The event, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), has become Asia's foremost marketplace for film and television content. Over 790 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions were included in the exhibition, with over 30 group pavilions from the Chinese Mainland and key international territories. This year's market reflects a shift in transformation, with new technologies changing the way shows are made, storytelling formats evolving faster than ever, and a new wave of producers seeking fresh collaborations abroad. The exhibition floor also saw strong returns from major markets like France, the UK., the U.S. and Korea, and Asian countries. The AI Hub, co-organised with the Assn. of Motion Picture Post Production Professionals, will welcome over 100 local and international producers and 10 leading global film institutions. The Producers Connect program will offer lectures, masterclasses, and practical insights into global partnership opportunities.
