Rebel Wilson is being sued by Charlotte MacInnes, the lead actress in her directorial debut film The Deb, over allegations that she invented a sexual harassment complaint by the young actress. During cross-examination, Wilson defended her integrity and denied the allegations. Sue Chrysanthou accused Wilson of dumping her phone containing WhatsApp messages related to the case, which Wilson's lawyers have previously stated was stolen in London in 2025.
