The Xbox Ally, a gaming handheld device that is now challenging the Steam Deck OLED on price, has been offered for a record low in both the US and UK. The white ROG Xbox Ally can be purchased for $539.99 at Best Buy and £396.60 at Amazon in the UK for over £100. However, there is a significant performance gap between its Z2 chipset and the Z2 Extreme used by its expensive rivals, and it's technically less punchy than the last gen Z1 Extreme. Despite these compromises, the Xbox Ally is considered the most affordable portable PC currently available.
