A Polymarket trader, JESUSCHRISTISGOOD on the prediction market's platform, made a significant $252K profit after UFC announcer Bruce Buffer misread the fight's outcome at UFC 327 in Miami. This is the second time in two weeks that the company has made an "scoring error" involving a fight. The trader placed a $500 bet on American lightweight Chris Padilla, which represented his best bet since joining the market in January. After Buffer's mistake, each fighter's odds were adjusted to reflect that neither Padilla nor Mederos had won. The error was caught ahead of time and the trader was aware of the market's correction. The company has also established a Major League Baseball partnership with the UFC to protect the integrity of the game.
