U.S. Senator says people impacted by wildfires in Nebraska dealing with unimaginable loss

U.S. Sen. Deb Fischer has stated that the people affected by wildfires in Nebraska are dealing with "unprecedented loss". The Ashby Fire in western Nebraska is 97% contained, but the uncontained part is in an "area of buried heat that will continue to smolder until it's excavated". The Minor Fire is 85% contained and is currently 85%. U.N. officials have stated that thousands of acres of ranch land have been burned and destroyed by the fast-moving fire.
