NBA YoungBoy bringing sold-out tour to the big screen with ‘American YoungBoy’

NBA YoungBoy is set to star in a concert documentary, "American YoungBoy," which documents the rapper's MASA Tour and his life behind the scenes. The film, produced and distributed by Foundation Media Partners and his new production company, 38 Films, will be directed by Nico Ballesteros, who also directed the Kanye West documentary "In Whose Name?" The documentary, which runs about 1 hour and 15 minutes, is scheduled for release on April 22. It is intended to capture YoungBoy's energy and give audiences a closer look at who he is beyond the stage. The documentary arrives as YoungBoy continues to perform well, averaging $1.6 million in gross per city.
