The Cannes Film Festival's heritage strand, which includes a 4K restoration of Guillermo Del Toro's 2006 picture Pan’s Labyrinth, will feature in a screening marking the 20th anniversary of its world premiere in Cannes. Other restored films include the 1982 picture Moonlighting and a screening of Giuseppe Patroni Griffi's 1968 work Love. Bruce Dern will be present for a documentary called Dernsie: The Amazing Life Of Bruce Durn, which is based on over fifty hours of conversations filmed across four years. The entire Cannes Classics section will be dedicated to U.S. icon Dean Tavoularis, who died in Paris on April 22 at the age of 93.
