Oxfam has urged festival attendees to abandon fast fashion for upcycled clothing, with outfits purchased for festivals being particularly detrimental. The charity suggests that by 2050, the fashion industry will produce 138 billion items of unworn clothing - enough to cover almost all of the planet.
