Robots learn to ask humans for help

Service Robotics, a company that operates in 20 cities, is partnering with T-Mobile to introduce new AI-powered conversational robots that can interact with humans and learn how to ask for help. The new model, named Maggie, is friendly and engaging, and not afraid to push buttons. The company's CEO, Ali Kashani, believes this is the final step towards fully integrating robots into society. However, giving robots language and comprehension capabilities to robots takes a significant amount of computing power and computing effort. The T-mobile edge AI network, which provides low latency, enhanced security and localized data processing, helps offset these computing demands.
