visionOS 26.4 unlocks support for 'world’s most advanced flight simulator' on Apple Vision Pro

Apple's visionOS 26.4 will enable Apple Vision Pro to display the "world's most advanced flight simulator" X-Plane 12, currently available on Mac, Windows, and Linux. The software update also incorporates support for Nvidia's CloudXR 6.0 technology. An upcoming companion app for visionOS will use CloudXr to turn Apple Vision pro into a viewpoint for X-plane 12. The news comes as X-Pane 12 will be able to automatically detect an Apple VisionPro and stream the flight simulator to the device.
