Noah Laba, a 22-year-old rookie from Colorado College, has played a full-time NHL role for the Rangers, making his debut in Game 1 and maintaining his position as third-line center. Despite two injury stints, Laba has been able to maintain his position at 3C and has played 62 games this season. He was moved back to the middle of the line after J.T. Miller was traded to replace him, but Laba was reinserted onto the fourth line with captain Mika Zibanejad and Vincent Trocheck. The Rangers are also considering trading No. 3 and No. 6 for another player, Adam Edstrom, in the offseason. The team is also considering looking at the possibility of trading Trocheck again this summer.
