Several days of periodic rain chances with wind this week

No more rain is expected for the week, with mostly cloudy skies expected to gradually clear towards the evening hours of Tuesday. Despite this, there are expected to be several days of periodic rain and thunderstorm chances, particularly for southeast Nebraska. A risk for severe weather is expected to occur in Kansas on Wednesday, and parts of far southeast Nebraska are included in another Marginal (Level 1 of 5) risk for isolated storms threatening hail and damaging winds. High temperatures on Wednesday will be warmer, reaching the 70s for those in southeast Nebraska and including Lincoln.
