Vertical browser tabs are better and you should use them

Google's Chrome browser has introduced a new feature, vertical tabs, allowing users to place their tabs in a sidebar rather than in a row across the top of their browser. This move is seen as a significant addition to the reading mode feature that aims to make pages easier to read. Vertical tabs are not a new idea about browsers; even the original Chrome team tested them before deciding that putting tabs at the top made each one feel more like an app. They also make it easier to manage tab groups and expand and contract without taking away all the space needed for their more ephemeral tabs. The advantage of vertical tabs is that they make your browser work more like other software.
