Indian billionaire Anil Agarwal is challenging Gautam Adani's winning bid for a bankrupt real estate firm in the Supreme Court. The dispute involves a $4 billion pool of assets, including the country's only Formula One track. Vedanta has argued its $1.8 billion bid was superior, but Adani won due to higher upfront payments. The Supreme Court hearing records show that Vedanta is now asking for the acquisition to be halted. A win could significantly boost Adani’s real-estate expansion in Mumbai.
