The Charlotte Hornets have retired Dell Curry's No. 30 jersey, a tribute to the team's first pick in the 1988 expansion draft. The ceremony took place at halftime during a game against the Orlando Magic. Curry, currently a TV broadcaster and analyst for the Hornets, was joined by his NBA-playing sons Stephen and Seth, his daughter Sydel, wife Nicki, his mother Juanita, six grandchildren, and team officials. The jersey will eventually hang alongside the one commemorating Bobby Phills' tenure. North Carolina Gov. Josh Stein presented Curry with the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, one of North Carolina's highest civilian honors.
