A mystery sign swapper has been warned that their actions could have serious consequences after swapping a Somerset town's road signs with those from France and Spain. The move was described as "irresponsible" by Spain's Directorate-General for Traffic. Other sign exchanges included a welcome sign for Sallespisse, a French village over 540 miles away, and a sign for Midsomer Norton. The thief can face up to €20,000 in Spain.
