Supergirl's director, Craig Gillespie, has revealed that there are nine distinct worlds in the upcoming DC film, with five "original" languages spoken. The actors had to learn these languages due to the extensive amount of traveling involved. The film, which follows the Woman of Tomorrow comics, will be played by Milly Alcock, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Jason Momoa, and Matthias Schoenaerts. Gillespie directed from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira.
