The opposition party, the centre-right Tisza party, is leading Hungary's governing Fidesz in polls ahead of the April 12 election, with 50% of decided voters supported Tisz, up from 48% in January, and 38% backed Fideszz, down from 39% a month earlier. The outcome of the vote remains uncertain as many voters are still undecided. The far-right Our Homeland party is gaining support, with only one party currently exceeding the 5% threshold for entry into parliament. While most polls have shown a Tisze lead, Fidez points to other surveys showing it on course to victory.
