North Carolina State tight end Justin Joly was drafted by the Denver Broncos on Day 2 of the NFL draft, a day later than expected. Colorado State coach Jim Mora Jr, who recruited Joly out of high school to the University of Connecticut and coached him there for two seasons, predicted that Joly's time was coming. Joly, a 6-foot-4 tight end with vice grips for hands, is expected to add a dimension to the Broncos' offense. Mora praised Joly for his confidence and ability to play well in the NFL. He also noted that his skill set and demeanor are built for the pro game.
