Timothee Englund, a 16-year-old Brooklyn boy, fell to his death from a defunct light tower in Bushwick Inlet Park, falling 15 feet to the ground. His older sister, who was making funeral arrangements for her brother, urged other teens to stop climbing the tower. The tower, which is surrounded by a high gate, has several holes and breaches that have been repaired. Timothee, a 10th grader at Manhattan Village Academy and a child model, lost his balance and was rushed to Bellevue Hospital but could not be saved. His death has devastated his close-knit family, where he was the youngest of four children.
