MAGA figures have criticized Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo) for attending the Colorado Rockies home opener with Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D). The comments were made in reference to former Mesa County clerk Tina Peters, who was convicted of criminal charges related to her efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Many of these groups also noted that Polis has refused to grant clemency to Peters, a move many believe is politically motivated.
