NASA shows Artemis II lunar flyby comparison

The artist's depiction of the altitude of the Orion capsule during Artemis II, which will pass between 4,000 and 6,000 miles from the surface, is compared to that of the seven Apollo missions that orbited the Moon between 1968 and 1972. The astronauts will be able to view the entire disk of the Moon at a much higher altitude than the Apollo missions.
