Legendary Earthquakes star Chris Wondolowski inducted into National Soccer Hall of Fame

Chris Wondolowski, the MLS's all-time leading scorer, has been inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame. The six-person 2026 class includes Kevin Crow, another East Bay native whose extensive soccer career includes multiple seasons playing for the United States Men’s National Team. Wondolow was inducted in Frisco, Texas, where he spent most of his 17-year MLS career scoring 171 goals. He was named the MLS’ MVP in 2012 and won two Golden Boots, including one in 2012 when he tied a league record with 27 goals. The 2026 inductees will include former U.S. Women’'s National Team stars Tobin Heath and Heather O’Reilly, ex-D.C. United star Tony Sanneh, and referee Kari Seitz.
