The New York Mets are bringing Tommy Pham to the team, which is desperately needing an offensive boost after being shut out twice in three games by the A's. Pham, who signed a minor league deal with the Mets on Opening Day, has been a consistent hitter from the right side and played five games with Low-A St. Lucie. The team will need to make a corresponding move to get Pham on the 40-man roster, particularly as Juan Soto is out with a calf strain.
