Democratic fundraising platform, ActBlue, is facing allegations that its leadership intentionally misled Congress about its safeguards against illegal foreign donations. The New York Times reported that ActBlue CEO, Regina Wallace-Jones, may have provided inaccurate information to the House Administration Committee in a letter from 2023. Internal memos from law firm Covington & Burling reportedly warned that these claims were not fully accurate. The warnings led to a flurry of resignations from ActBlue and the suspension of the general counsel's office. The company denies ever misleading Congress.
