Lionsgate Play has announced a second season of "Heated Rivalry" for 2027, with a theatrical-first release model for premium Hollywood titles and over 100 premieres planned for India in 2026. The theatrical push, set to begin in September, will see 10-12 titles debut in Indian cinemas before they are released on the platform. Films such as Russell Crowe's "Billion Dollar Spy," Gerard Butler's "Empire City," Robert Pattinson's "Primetime," and Mark Wahlberg's "By Any Means" are among the films set to debut. The platform operates across eight Asian markets and reaches over 40 million viewers in India.
