Shawn Akison, the driver of the New Prairie baseball team bus crash, has pleaded guilty to causing catastrophic injury while operating a motor vehicle under the influence and serious bodily injury. The incident occurred in May, when Akison allegedly failed to stop for police and hit two mini-buses carrying the players and coaches. His sentencing is scheduled for April 29.
