Another deep tech chip startup becomes a unicorn: Frore hits $1.64B

Semiconductor startup, Frore Systems, has raised $143 million in a Series D, bringing its total to $1.64 billion. The company, founded by two former Qualcomm engineers, initially developed air-cooling tech for phones and small fanless electronics. Its focus was influenced by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, who suggested they develop liquid cooling options for AI chips and systems.
